Talk to a bond specialist — today
A real person, a same-day quote on most files, and the carrier most likely to approve your bond cleanly. Every new submission is read by Anthony Spina within a business day.
Same business day on most files — urgent lane for court and license deadlines
Under 24 hours
Every clean submission — license, permit, small court, ERISA, BMC-84 — is read, quoted and returned before end-of-day on the next business day. Overnight emails are on the desk before 9 AM Eastern.
Urgent filing lane
If the obligee has already set a filing deadline (court hearing, license issue date, bid opening), call the direct line and say so. We escalate to the underwriter the same hour rather than working through the general queue.
Complex performance files
New-applicant contract sureties take longer because the underwriter is reading financials, work-on-hand and indemnity. We tell you a realistic timeline up front — usually three to seven business days — so you can plan the bid.
The five things that get your bond quoted faster
Every carrier we submit to asks for the same underwriting file. Sending them up front cuts a day or two off the round-trip.
- The obligee letter, court order or bond form. Whoever is requiring the bond has almost always issued a document telling you the amount, the wording and the effective date. That document is our starting point.
- Legal name and address of the principal. The individual, the LLC, the estate, the plan sponsor — whichever is being bonded. Bonds are issued in the exact legal name, so a typo means a re-execution.
- Bond amount and any required effective / expiration date. Some obligees mandate a specific date; some allow us to backdate to the license issue day.
- For contract, performance and larger fiduciary bonds: current financials. A recent balance sheet and P&L, work-on-hand for contractors, or the plan asset total for ERISA. The carrier can't underwrite without them.
- Anything you've already been declined for. If a previous carrier passed, tell us why. We hold specialty markets exactly for those files, and hiding history only slows things down.
